Lord Viserys Velaryon was the Lord of Driftmark and Lord of the Tides until his death in 367 AC.

Viserys has the high cheekbones, violet eyes, and the pale silver hair even the Late Queen was famous for.
History[]
Lord Viserys Velaryon is the current Lord of Driftmark and the Tides. Born in 345 AC to Daeron Velaryon and his late wife, his ascendance to Lordship in 366 AC, just a year before the death of beloved Queen Daenerys I was entirely mundane, although a small sect of smallfolk opposed his rule, because they believed he had his father murdered even though he had passed of natural causes.
An expert sailor, he had been sailing for as long as he remembered. He had travelled to the free cities on his signature ship, The Seven Winds. His father had always told him, “How are you to protect the waves if you cannot sail them?” This simple idiom has stuck with Viserys during his life, a life motto if you will.
During his travels, Viserys has travelled to Lys, Braavos, and Myr, attempting, and failing to find a bride in each city. Daeron, before his passing, secured a marriage fit for a Lord Paramount, the Princess Alysanne Targaryen, the newest in a long line of Targaryan and Velaryon marriages.
Viserys started a moderately successful shipping business less than a year ago, with the Free Cities, the braavosi most of all. These connections have helped him expand his influence farther than Driftmark, although these influence claims can’t be substantiated outside of Driftmark.
Recent Events[]
367 AC[]
Viserys attended the Grand Council of 367 AC and fell in with Karla Cerwyn briefly, before returning to Queen's Landing with her after the disappearance of Alysanne Targaryen. He spent the following months there, and grew increasingly hostile towards Valarr Targaryen.
In an outrage, Viserys attempted to kill the King, but was stopped by an axe blow to the neck.
